Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Wellington Water Watchers.
Below are volunteer opportunities available!
Please use the checklist below or email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know how you'd like to help out.
1. Volunteer at Guelph Farmers' Market and other Public Events
There are many events at which Wellington Water Watchers will be tabling, including the Guelph Farmers' Market every Saturday from 7AM-12PM, to help spread our message that Water is for Life, Not for Profit. If you are available to sign up for any number of Saturdays at the Market please email us! We are currently enjoying unprecedented media coverage and it is more important than ever to maintain a strong presence in our community.
Please email email@example.com
2. Volunteers for Blog-Writing
We are looking for volunteers to write content for our blog. If you have an interest in writing, and getting more information out about Nestlé, water protection, and other "Water for Life Not for Profit" topics, or if you want to attend 2Rivers Festival and/or Wellington Water Watchers events, and write about the event--we would love to hear from you!
3. Greenbelt Lawn Sign Distribution
We are looking for mobile volunteers to help us deliver "Protect Our Water" Grow Our Greenbelt lawn signs. If you are in the Guelph area and are able to distribute lawn signs locally at your own convenience we would love to have you on our volunteer team!
We want to get our signs out there so councillors can see our community's support for the Greenbelt.
4. Administrative Volunteer
We have an immediate need for an administrative volunteer to help on Wednesday or Friday on an ongoing regular basis.
If you have strong computer, organizational and written communication skills, we could really use your help!
Please contact Arlene Slocombe for more information or to volunteer! firstname.lastname@example.org
