Big year for Guelph's Water Wagon

The numbers are in and it was a big year for Guelph's Water Wagon.

The Water Wagon was put in service in 2013, replacing a water tanker the city had been using since 2009.

A city report says that in 2019 the Water Wagon had its busiest year yet, being used at 31 community events.

The report says that the wagon distributed 22,332 litres of water at those event, the equivalent of 44,664 500ml bottles of water.

Since 2013, the Water Wagon has provided a total of 156,204 litres of water, the equivalent of 312,408 500ml water bottles.
