Case Studies in Community Organizing and Activism: Community Opposition to Corporate Water Bottling (US/Canada)

Since 2014, Water Watchers has been a partner and participant in academic research on the dynamics of grassroots opposition to corporate water bottling here in Ontario and beyond. Through our participation in research, our hope is to have our story told, to learn and grow stronger through critical analysis of our experiences, and to share insights from communities across North America and around the world about how communities can come together to effectively challenge state and corporate power and realize our long-term goals of ecological sustainability and social justice.
